The beautiful village gardens remain a precious area for Palestinians, who grow food and bring their children to play there. Sometimes on Shabbat, settlers with guns come down to disrupt their family picnics. The settlers have been known to bathe in the village water source near the garden. Recently, villagers have sighted wild boars on the garden grounds at night, which they suspect were sent by settlers to destroy the village crops.
