new roadblock in yassouf. new dirt was brought to add to old dirt from the old roadblock, which had been temporarily disabled. the dirt mound prevents people in upper salfit from going to the region capital directly. i once saw 10 palestinians pushing their taxi van up a mountain around this roadblock because they couldn't get another taxi on the other side and they were desperate to get to work. the van was almost ruined.
