Two of the Abu Haykal's ten children (almost all engineers), in front of the metal detector and checkpoint they must pass through on their way to school. Their home is coveted and they frequently experience violent settler attacks, yet the family remains on their land in spite of the obstacles: a powerful example of Palestinian nonviolent resistance.
